Who we are

Galivard is a technology platform that connects individuals with SRA-regulated solicitors for on-demand legal advice. We are not a law firm. Solicitors on the platform operate under their own SRA authorisation.

What data we collect

When you use Galivard, we may collect:

• Contact information — your name and WhatsApp phone number, provided when you message us.
• Message content — the description of your legal matter and any messages exchanged during a session, used solely to connect you with the right solicitor and deliver the advice.
• Session records — details of completed sessions (category, duration, outcome) used for platform operation and quality assurance.
• Application data — if you apply to join as a solicitor partner: name, email, phone, SRA registration number, and experience details.

How we use your data

We use your data only to:

• Match you with an appropriate solicitor and facilitate the session
• Send you messages through WhatsApp as part of the service
• Maintain session records for billing and dispute resolution
• Improve matching accuracy using aggregated, anonymised matter data

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties beyond the solicitor assigned to your matter and the payment processor.

WhatsApp messaging

Galivard uses the WhatsApp Business Platform (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to receive and send messages. By messaging our WhatsApp number you agree to WhatsApp's Privacy Policy. Message content is processed by our platform solely to route and facilitate your legal matter.

Data retention

Session messages and matter records are retained for 7 years in compliance with legal professional obligations. You may request deletion of your data where retention is not legally required by contacting us at the address below.
